- Lister Wilder’s Ashford depot in the south east of England has been appointed as the Kverneland dealer to cover Kent, from September 1st
“We are extremely pleased to be given this opportunity to grow our agricultural business by expanding our portfolio in Kent with the entire Kverneland range of machinery,” said Phill Hughes, sales director of Lister Wilder.
“We have been looking to expand our business by providing a much more focussed approach for new and existing agricultural customers, and the Kverneland portfolio is a perfect fit in this area,” he said.
Lister Wilder is no stranger to the Kverneland product range. It held the franchise for many years up to 2020 across its western area depots before restructuring to become a full-line Kubota dealer. This brought Kubota’s tractors and implements to the business, which the dealership will continue to provide, across all its branches.
Kverneland equipment is available exclusively from Lister Wilder’s Ashford depot, which operates with two area sales managers, two agricultural parts assistants and four dedicated agricultural service technicians across the Kent area, providing first class mobile and workshop-based support.
With Kverneland-trained engineers and an extensive stock of original parts and machines within the dealership, after-sales and service for existing Kverneland customers in the area will continue without interruption.
Dan Crowe, Kverneland managing director, said: “We are pleased to welcome Lister Wilder’s Ashford depot into the Kverneland dealer network, as this forward-thinking, family-run business actively seeks a wider customer base in the agricultural sector.”
The Kverneland range includes an extensive range of soil preparation, seeding and mechanical weeding equipment, plus grass and forage products, feeding and bedding equipment, fertiliser spreaders, sprayers and precision farming technology.
