The Irrigation Association, Fairfax, Virginia, will host “From Irrigation to Water Management,” a one-hour webinar on June 20.
The session, presented by DJ Seeger, President, Seeger Water, San Antonio, Texas, covers the technology, industry best practices and business strategies needed to lead the industry paradigm shift from irrigation to water management.
Attendees will be provided a picture of the future of the irrigation and green industries. As water resources become more scarce and expensive, homeowners and property managers are relying on irrigation professionals to keep their landscapes healthy, while reducing consumption. Through new technologies like flow sensors and central control, irrigators are taking control of water usage and are critical in the future of water conservation.
The webinar, which is open to the public and offers most participants continuing education credits, is part of the IA’s Industry Insights series that features 60-minute sessions including a presentation and Q&A. The webinars cover issues current and relevant to those working in the industry today, featuring knowledgeable experts presenting information on trends, research and best practices.
The cost to attend the webinar is $35 for IA members and $50 for nonmembers. It is worth one continuing education credit.
